Cheryl and James,

We have had the pleasure of dining at the Grand Union on several occasions over the last eight or so years and have never been disappointed, on the contrary, the meals have always been nothing short of amazing. We have also had the pleasure of experiencing the Chef's tasting from three of the last four Chefs and each dinner was excellent. Last nights meal topped the rest. We are very happy that Scott chose to come to Montana. We have and always will recommend the Grand Union to all who want a fine dining experience. Rivals any meal we've had any where else in the country.

Cheryl and James,

I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and hospitality. Everything about the hotel sings of love. Your staff is very gracious. Thank you for treating us like royalty and family at the same time. I will miss the Grandmommy piano until my return!

Cheryl and James,

Our stay was to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. Being here made it special. From the pretty, comfortable room to the delicious food to the friendly, courteous staff. The Christmas Decorations were beautiful, right down to the frosty trees outside our window on Christmas Eve morning. We will be back.

Our two first nights in Montana couldn't have started better. This hotel is in a truly small small town - when you turn off the road and descend down the cliffs to the river you wonder..But take a leap of faith - this is a friendly berg and an excellent base for exploring. The hotel has an extraordinary presence with well maintained and stylish good-sized rooms that aren't fraught with frills. Directly on the Missouri River - replete with a great pedestrian bridge to stride over water rushing to St Louis and beyond. The town tells its story through documented historic trails and friendly residents.. From Ft. Benton you can explore the high plains, dinosaur digs, the Missouri River and the eastern flank of the Rockies as they rise to Glacier Park. Fabulous restaurant on premise - and we say that from an LA perspective. This hotel offers a unique, very comfortable and memorable Montana experience We had no idea what we would find here - but we strongly recommend a few nights here.
